The Edible Mushroom Research Center, with an area of 220 square meters, was constructed in 2002 and contains a laboratory, pasteurization room, boiler room, autoclave, a 25 degree Celsius room, four mushroom production rooms, and allequipments needed for mushroom cultivation. At this center, graduate studentswork on thesis research concerning edible mushrooms. This center has held several workshops on edible mushroom production. In addition to numerous research papers, the results and findings of projects conducted into the area have been published in two books, namely “White Button Mushroom Cultivation” and “Oyster Mushroom Cultivation”.
