Dairy Research Center was established in located in a 30 km distance in the south east of Mashhad and establishedwith 30 dairy cows in 1980. Current capacity of the dairy farm is about 512 cows in anarea of about4.7 hectare including calves stall, heifers barn,milkingcows barn, milking shed, feed storage, underground silos,research facilities, clinic, office and workershouses. This farm is one of outstanding dairy farms in Khorasan province with regard to product quality and providing service to researchers. Current average milk production is around36 littersper cow.
